Changelog
What changed in the recent releases of Saykeep for the Mac, newest first. Updates install in-app, only with your consent.
v0.4.3
- The Saykeep panel: click the menu-bar icon and a panel opens under it, with Start meeting, your five most recent meetings, and what Saykeep is recording or processing right now.
- Right-click (or Control-click) the icon for the menu, which now starts with Open Saykeep.
- The panel follows your theme (Settings ▸ Appearance): dark, light or the system’s.
- A fix for macOS 27: the end-of-meeting dialog no longer cuts off its Save and Cancel buttons.
v0.4.2
- Light mode is a light green, keyed to the Saykeep icon.
- One Recordings window: your meetings (Library) and what Saykeep is doing right now (Activity), a click apart.
- A grace while your key arrives: if your trial ends before it does, “I’ve paid — waiting for my key” in Settings ▸ App & Updates ▸ Licence, with your order number, gives 7 days of full access, once per Mac.
- Export diagnostics… is back on the Mac, in Settings ▸ App & Updates ▸ Diagnostics.
v0.4.1
- A speech model you have already downloaded now loads from disk, with no request to huggingface.co.
- New installs save meetings in ~/Documents/Saykeep. Existing installs keep the folder they already use.
- Summaries tag your own action items “[Me]”, or with your name once you have set it, instead of someone else’s initials.
v0.4.0
- Redesigned on the Mac: Settings, the queue and the end-of-meeting dialog, in a theme that follows the system or the one you pick.
- Settings grouped into seven tasks, with a description under every control and a search box that finds any setting.
- Plainer, more accurate wording in Settings and in setup.
